Learn to Row programs vary, depending on the time of year. Typically clubs will host Learn To Row classes in the spring and the fall. Chicago is also home to one of the country’s largest indoor rowing competitions, the Chicago Indoor Rowing Championships. So even if the weather is keeping you off the water, you can find an ‘erg’ (a rowing machine) in just about every gym in the city.
